So when I started blogging and taking photos I didn’t really know how to edit photos and at Christmas when I got my camera, my uncle gave me amazing tips on photography. He also showed me how to edit photos. He’s an amazing photographer (this photo is his) and you should definitely check him out! The link to his website is here.
To be honest I never really know how people can have the perfect looking theme because I find it to be impossible! So I just stopped stressing and now I’m just posting what I want.
1. What apps do I use?
Well, now I use SnapSeed and EyeEm.
First I open SnapSeed. This is a useful app to edit your photos. I usually brighten my photos a bit. And sometimes focus an object a bit more (Okay I’m realising that does not make any sense whatsoever but eh.. I don’t know how to explain it so I hope you understand!) You can do a lot of things with this app and I would just experiment with the different options.
Then I open EyeEm and put the filter F1. I normally only “do half the filter”, what I mean is I don’t have the filter on maximum (Again does not make sense…sorry XD). And that’s it!
2. My recommendations
If you don’t like how your photos look together well these are my tips!
1. Try using the same filters for your photos.
2. Don’t stress! It’s only your Instagram page!
3. Read other people’s posts with their recommendations (because I’m not good in giving advice lol).
4. Try having a bit of everything (colours, objects, landscapes, etc..)
5. Get ideas from other Instagram accounts!
As I’ve already mentioned don’t stress! If you like your photos then that’s great! If you don’t, well, it really doesn’t always have to be perfect! (And that’s coming from a perfectionist, so I totally get if you’re overthinking A LOT because that’s literally what I do ALL THE TIME!).
I hope you enjoyed this post! I know it was a bit different but ya!
XOXO, Rosie <3
