The best filters for Instagram and blog photos

The best filters for Instagram and blog photos

Hey guys!

So recently I saw this of post on Amelia’s blog called “Best Filters For Blog Photos“. And I thought it was a really cool idea so I decided to make my own version.

So for this, I am mainly going to be talking about VSCO and Snapseed. Which you have probably heard of.

I’ve already mentioned this app in a few of my other posts so I won’t explain it again. But in a short description, Snapseed lets you edit your photos as you like, you can change the brightness, saturation, etc…

I edit my photos a bit with this app before applying any filters.

I’ve only started using it recently as I’ve heard a lot of people talking about it. And boy, I understand why!

VCSO is an editing app with lots of amazing filters. I personally really like HB2. But all of the filters are really good.

Here are some examples:

These are my personal favourite but there are a lot of other ones too! Unfortunately, some are not free and I haven’t tried them so I can’t tell you if they’re worth it or not.

I did two examples with HB2 with different lightings and shading. Personally, I always use HB2 as it’s the style I like. I also always go to EyeEm afterwards and apply F1 which gives it a bit of a faded look (if that makes sense).

So yaaa I hope you enjoyed this post! I know it wasn’t anything very creative as it wasn’t even my idea (thanks, Amelia though XD).

XOXO, Rosie <3
