Hallow beautiful people!
For half of the world right now, it’s rainy, cold and very wet outside (for the other half..well…damn, it’s almost summer!!!) and probably very boring (at least for me). So I decided to catch up on aaaaall the blog posts I missed and obviously, binge read Tabi’s blog. She recently wrote a post on how to make your own scrapbook.
This isn’t actually a new thing (I’ve been making them for years but mostly with family photos) but thought I would do an updated version of my 2012 one😂.
So here ya go!
First I literally took EVERYTHING I could find and took them to my room, if you have a notebook that you’re never going to use (*cough cough* I definitely don’t have too many…) then take that as well! I tried stacking my things up to maximize space but failed miserably and ended up with a huge mess…
Then I decided to steal a small flower from my mum’s bouquet (oops, sorry mum❤️) and put it between sheets of newspaper and a dictionary. I let it dry a day and put it in the book.
And that was it. The thing I like about scrapbooking is that THERE ARE NO LIMITS (AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE PRECISE!!!) You can be so creative and use things that are lying around at home! Tabi also shows in her post how to make your own book! These last weeks haven’t been all so fun for me (as you’ve noticed I’ve barely blogged) but making one of these really helps with stress! It took me a day to make this and I felt really good afterwards!
What about you?
Have you ever made a scrapbook?
XOXO, Rosie <3
