A small update of my life :)

A small update of my life :)

Hellow peeps!

These last two or three months have not been the greatest here on my blog, I haven’t been writing a lot or finding the (time?) motivation to either. I feel like 2018 is seriously going by soooo fast, it’s actually crazy!

Lately, however, I’ve been noticing that I miss blogging a lot and that I definitely don’t want to stop. My last posts haven’t been very personal either. I feel like that’s the biggest reason why I didn’t want to write anymore because I forced myself to do posts about topics I thought you would like instead of having fun writing. That’s the main reason why I started this blog, because I like writing! And I always wanted it to be about passion and personal stories. I’m not interested in becoming a beauty blogger or so. Not that I don’t enjoy those posts, but it just doesn’t feel right if I start making them as well.

I was a bit lost for a while but I’m back and ready for a small fresh start!

I guess a small break was good though as I did have a few things going on. School is going well, as usual, that’s definitely not what’s been keeping me busy hahaha. Some of you may know that I play the flute, in an orchestra as well as lessons. Every three years we have to take exams to “prove” that we’re in the right grade (could you say that?). So this year I had my second ones (as I’ve been playing for 6 years). I’m not good at handling stress and not really used to it as..eh, I kind of wing it for most things….please don’t do this, I’m not a good example XD. When I took my first ones, I remember it being horrible because I started learning at the last minute and was completely stressed. This year, however, I started wayyy earlier, literally in August of last year, and I had them now, so in May….I think I handled the stress much better although being swallowed by a black hole was very tempting at times.

Anyway, so I had these exams last tuesday in 4th period which means I was allowed to skip school, yay (at that point I wasn’t even happy about it, I had a huge lump in my stomach and would have much preferred staying in class). We got to the place and there were this mum and her daughter who also had to pass just before me. I honestly don’t like her that much but she was so stressed, I did kind of feel bad. I started warming up in the practice room and then my teacher came in and said that we can actually pass earlier as the expert was ready to hear us. So this girl left before me to present her pieces (these were actually only her first exams) whilst I waited nervously outside. She came out because the expert and teacher had to decide what grade to give her (that’s definitely the worst part when you don’t even know if you passed). But it didn’t look too bad so we just talked a little.

Then it was my turn. I had to learn ten scales for this exam but honestly, it sounds worse than it actually is. Well, almost….So the expert asks me to present the d major so I naturally take my flute and then…blank. I didn’t know the scale, I didn’t know the scale. Now imagine me completely panicking because I was incapable of playing it. I stutter and ask if minor or major (even though he just said it) and he looks at me complex and repeats himself. I then looked and my teacher and she instantly understood so she tells me the scale which I then played. Apart from those long 30 seconds, the exam went pretty well although you could hear me trembling whilst playing. I had to go out of the room like the girl before as well but the door didn’t close properly so eh…I kind of heard what they were talking about which was fun, to say the least. In the end, I got a 5 out of 6 (yup that’s the grading system in Switzerland) and was really happy. I got a lot of compliments from the expert about my personality saying I was positive and bright so thanks for that XD.

That evening I had orchestra practice as well so I got a round of applause from everyone which was embarrassing but cool at the same time lol. I may do a post talking about the people there as there few cool stories haha.

So yeah! That’s the newest stuff that’s been happening lately in ma life! I recently went out with friends and took a few cool photos, be prepared for the post!

Thanks for reading if you’ve come till here 🙂

XOXO, Rosie <3
